Lox...

My most consistent prego crave lately.  I use the term loosely as smoked salmon is more readily available for making it at home and "Lox" is traditionally brined salmon.  Even better with tomato or cucumber added, but the mainstays are: Salmon, cream cheese, capers, red onion and poppy seed bagel.  I find myself thinking of my uncle Dave catching huge salmon in Alaska, my grandpa "Lenny" eating a raw onion like an apple bite by bite and my grandma Carmela saying something with a New Yorker's accent.  :)  Guess it's no wonder I like it.  :D
