Christian gets reading glasses

Christian seems tired after watching screens or looking at books for a while...Sometimes to the point of having a slower focus on things close up.  This landed us at a pediatric eye therapist's office.  Per his exam, his vision is 20/30 which is typical for his age.  He's just being Christian...extreme.  When he's interested in something, he doesn't blink or look away for little breaks.  He doesn't get hyper and run off after a bit...he'll sit and stare...for hours if allowed.  Being long sighted naturally, this strains the muscles that have to respond to focus up close.  Why get long winded about it?  I don't know.  Moms do that sometimes. :)   Computers are causing more of this kind of thing in children, so it's worth thinking about for anyone who's noticed overly tired eyes.  What is recommended is a groovy pair of reading glasses.  He wears them when staring at the computer or ipad mostly (though I let him debut them for sunday school ;).  I have noticed an improvement in how his eyes look after these particular activities.
And here he is...I could have just posted this picture and been done with it. ;)  I think he looks all set for some kind of professor type job. heeehee
Annoyed that I asked him to look up from the music thing he was poking at. :)
