Bruise is from the bow string slapping my arm. It looks much better than it did a few days ago. =)
You have to wrangle your bow with one of these (the easy way supposedly) and take the string off the bow when finished shooting so it doesn't wear out. This means if a bear ran into our house, I would need like, 5 minutes to string my bow in order to use it for protection...so much for that happy ending to those bad dreams I had about grizzlies growing up. ;)
Arrows are expensive and break at uncool times with no special affects
Your husband may want to hang the bows in the living room... which only looks cool in a castle.
-You can practice shooting for an hour and see no improvement in form or accuracy.
-You can feel like you did improve and next time you shoot be at square one.
I think it's great we have bragging rights on one of the best archers in world for the olympic games.
Brady Ellison is totally inspiring to watch.
