Long Time No Write

We've been running around doing some fun stuff the past few days. Ash, my lovely sis, came to the zoo with us on Friday. We went to the new shark petting exhibit. Super cool. =o) Adrian was lost yet once again at the zoo for about 1 min 30 sec. That child can slip away like none other. We had three of us (Luke, Ash and I) there watching the boys...well, two because I was changing Jude's diaper when he got away. He said he wanted to go on the merry-go-round. Anyway, it was a fun trip. Then on Sat. we got up and out the door to go to the "Walk for Life" along the canal. It was really fun for the boys this year. They had a huge fire truck slide and those crazy bouncy horses pictured. We called and got pledges on the way there...better late then never. Ash and Bryan, a cultured couple, had plans to walk through the art museum here in Indy, so Luke dropped Jude and I off so I could have lunch with them. Luke, the boys and I went to the Christian medical association Bonn fire that night for supper. Dr. Mendravoe hosted at his place and was the nicest most gracious host. He went hunting in his attic for a cradle he and his wife used for their kids when I mentioned I may but Jude to sleep at their house. He played outside with the boys for while too and came in with some funny stories. Noah and Adrian saw a little toad in the grass and said "hop toad, hop toad" and he thought they were saying hot tub. So he took the cover off their hot tub thinking that's what they wanted. They just kept saying "hop toad, hop toad" finally they took him over and showed him what they were talking about. After telling the story with great animation and a huge smile, he just chuckled and said under his breath "hop toad.....chuckle chuckle".
So funny. Anyway, I hope you've all had a great weekend and will have a great week too!
Ann
